The Warszawsko-Lubelska Orkiestra Dęta Orchestra was born in 2017 from the fascination of a group of musicians from Warsaw for the brass bands of the Rostocze region in eastern Poland. The orchestra collects its repertoire in the audio archives, the manuscripts available but also in the living encounter with the orchestras still existing in this region (Orkiestra ze Żdziłowice, Orkiestra z Goraja, and others). This dance and party orchestra is a continuation of the greatest tradition of wind dance orchestras, whose repertoires include traditional Polish tunes (Polkas, Obereks, Podróźniaks) or popular melodies from between the wars (foxtrots , waltzes and tangos). At ease in all festive or more intimate contexts, WLOD uses all the brilliance of its instruments to make you dance all night long!
